Procurement Program Manager, Amazon Grocery Logistics

Amazon Grocery Logistics is seeking a Procurement Program Manager to join our team. As a Procurement Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing new and existing procurement programs, scoping and creating project plans, coordinating and driving execution, and clear communication to senior management.

The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement and project management, with a strong background in data analysis and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage new and existing procurement programs, successfully delivering results across multiple Amazon organizations.
  • Influence design and development of strategic procurement programs.
  • Recognize and resolve issues and provide hands-on support to ensure procurement programs operate successfully across all locations.
  • Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers, escalating as appropriate.
  • Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all projects and using this data to drive/influence business decisions.
  • Work directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Maintain service levels across multiple vendors/providers ensuring quality services.
  • Own and execute large-scale process improvement opportunities within new business launches and existing processes and controls, including defining scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Manage or coordinate tactical procurement services and daily operations including Purchase Orders and Invoice management.

A Day in the Life:

As a Procurement Program Manager, you will work both independently and collaboratively on projects, which may be at different stages of the project lifecycle, from development to delivery. You will collaborate with other teams, track project progress, and share updates with key stakeholders. Amazon is a data-driven business, so no matter which project you are implementing, part of your role will involve gathering insights to make decisions.

Additional Qualifications:

Experience in driving end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership. Experience leading process improvements. Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization. Experience building processes, project management, and schedules. Experienced in building program reporting mechanisms.
