About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Application Engineer - AOCS to join our Satellite Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and documenting in-flight tests and benchmarks, taking ownership of engineering projects aimed at improving the satellite fleet's performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary interface between the Satellite Engineering team and Mission and Operations - Data Collection team, collaborating with program managers and other systems engineers.
  • Design, implement, and lead the execution of in-orbit procedures, experiments, and other tasks to characterize and improve the overall performance of the on-board computers.
  • Support continuous improvement by translating feedback collected from in-orbit performance into feature development proposals and requirements that impact the design of the satellite.
