Job Title: Postdoctoral Researcher Position in 3D Embryonic Organoids

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at Example in Barcelona, Spain. The successful candidate will contribute to our research project focused on understanding the self-organization of 3D embryonic organoids.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement agent-based simulations to model local cell interactions leading to polarized patterning and structure elongation in 3D embryonic organoids.
  • Develop and apply continuum hydrodynamic models to bridge the gap between cellular and tissue scales.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to advance our understanding of tissue morphogenesis through innovative simulations and experiments.
  • Contribute to the development of new experiments to validate theoretical predictions.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as physics, biology, or a related discipline.
  • Strong background in agent-based simulations and continuum hydrodynamic models.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
