Job Title: Postdoctoral Researcher Position in Pancreatic Cancer Research at Universitat de Barcelona
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher to join our interdisciplinary research team at the Universitat de Barcelona. The selected candidate will contribute to a funded research project focused on understanding the heterogeneity in pancreatic cancer tumors and the complex interactions within the tumor microenvironment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to a funded research project on tumor heterogeneity, early detection biomarkers, and personalized drug treatment
- Use state-of-the-art omics analyses and functional studies with primary in vitro and in vivo models
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary research team
- Supervise students and provide mentorship
- Demonstrate excellent technical skills in biochemical and cell biology-based techniques
- Work with primary human cells/organoids and possess experience in cancer biology
- Ensure compliance with Spanish legislation and regulations under a full-time contract
Requirements:
- PhD degree in molecular/cell biology, biochemistry, biomedicine, or equivalent
- Biomedical research experience during PhD and/or postdoctoral training
- Experience in (tumor) immunology
- Animal license certificate up to date
- Previous experience in Pancreatic Cancer and/or Pancreas Biology (valued, but not required)
- Flow cytometry and in vitro imaging techniques (valued, but not required)
