Accounting Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Philmetal Products Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing guidance to junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and send reconciled accounts receivable and payable aging reports to the Accounting Manager on a weekly basis.
  • Reconcile accounts payable on a weekly basis and process invoices into the accounting software.
  • Ensure timely collection and processing of subcontractor payments.
  • Handle monthly reconciliation of stock and consumables, as well as accounting provisions and accruals items.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and cash daily and submit weekly reports to Group.
  • Reconcile intercompany balances.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Background in the Philippine taxation system preferred.
  • 3-6 years of experience in a similar field.
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Amendable to work in Carmona, Cavite.
  • Willing to work Monday - Saturday Schedule.
