PhD Researcher in Supramolecular Peptide Assemblies

Job Description:
The Centro de Física de Materiales (CFM) is seeking a highly motivated PhD Researcher to contribute to a multidisciplinary project at the intersection of computational chemistry, structural biochemistry, and material sciences. The project aims to design and optimize supramolecular peptide assemblies (SPAs) for applications in tissue regeneration, using a combination of experimental and computational approaches.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of intermolecular interactions and supramolecular self-assembly
- Utilize spectroscopy, microscopy, and material characterization techniques
- Actively engage in creative research directions
- Attend international workshops, conferences, and training programs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, Biology, or a related field
- No prior experience in supramolecular chemistry is required, but a willingness to learn in a multidisciplinary environment is essential
- Strong interest in computational and experimental methods related to material science
