Job Title: Sr Director, Project Management

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly experienced Sr Director, Project Management to lead our Clinical Delivery Services Division. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic leadership and management in the direction and execution of operations and resourcing for the business in a complex cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure continuous process improvement and optimize organizational performance, processes, and associated systems.
  • Provide advice and strategic guidance to staff and direct business strategy and operational efficiency.
  • Lead large, complex, cross-functional initiatives and teams.
  • Assist Executive Management with the development of business roadmaps to support the organizational future state and alignment to department and company goals.
  • Act as a Champion for organizational changes and initiatives to support company objectives.
Requirements:
  • Extensive senior-level Project Management experience in a complex international organization, delivering change programmes.
  • Background in CRO, pharma, or life science industry, or business consultancy (working with similar clients) strongly preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of the key principles of cross-functional project management (Time, Quality, Cost).
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiar with formal change management processes and methods (Prosci or similar approach).
  • Skilled in process improvement and strategic development, especially as it applies to clinical trials, clinical development, and project management.
