Job Title: Sr Director, Project Management

Job Summary:

The Sr Director, Project Management is a key leadership role within our Clinical Delivery Services Division, providing strategic direction and management of operations and resourcing for the business in a complex cross-functional environment.

This includes developing and implementing strategies to ensure continuous process improvement, optimize organizational performance, and drive business growth.

The role also provides advice and guidance to staff, directs business strategy, and promotes operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead large, complex, cross-functional initiatives and teams
  • Assist Executive Management in developing business roadmaps to support the organizational future state and alignment to department and company goals
  • Act as a Champion for organizational changes and initiatives to support company objectives
  • Provoke critical thinking and drive innovation in the team related to execution of delivery, budget, quality, and prioritization
  • Assist in the development of group AOP - ensuring appropriate business approvals are obtained for projects

Requirements:

  • Extensive senior-level Project Management experience in a complex international organization, delivering change programmes
  • A background in CRO, pharma, or life science industry, or business consultancy (working with similar clients) strongly preferred
  • Expert knowledge of the key principles of cross-functional project management (Time, Quality, Cost)
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
  • Familiar with formal change management processes and methods (Prosci or similar approach)
  • Skilled in process improvement and strategic development, especially as it applies to clinical trials, clinical development, and project management
  • Outstanding analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills, including complex evaluations of intangible variables
  • Strong financial savvy with an in-depth knowledge and practical application of budgeting, forecasting, and resource management
  • Accomplished executive presence, consultation, and presentation skills
  • Expert negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence others and get results
  • Consistent track record driving corporate strategies that capture, engage, and retain repeat customers
  • Advanced level of English

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range estimated for this position based in Ireland is €136,500.00–€204,750.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
