About the Role

This position is with Amazon, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. As a key member of the AWS Infrastructure Services team, you will play a critical role in designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with stakeholders in Spain and across EMEA, requiring both Spanish and English language proficiency.
  • Meet SLAs against assigned trouble tickets via a directed workflow.
  • Perform regular server hardware repairs, including drives, motherboards, and other components.
  • Carry out routine network, server hardware, and OS-related repairs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete routine work.
  • Engage with Smart Hands in EU Regional POPs.
  • Adhere to security and safety best practices in the data center.
  • Participate in Data Center power & cooling events.
  • Identify and create documentation for use globally.
  • Identify and create process improvements relevant to the data center environment.
  • Perform server upgrades, rebuilds, and scheduled works as required.
  • Interact with third-party vendors & contractors.
  • Contribute to the development of other team members.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networks.
