Key Responsibilities- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective supply chain strategies that meet business objectives.
- Logistics Management: Oversee the management of imports and exports, animal movement logistics in Spain and Portugal, and coordinate with multipliers to ensure the availability of gilts meets orders.
- Cost Management: Manage costs within budget, focusing on transport recovery and ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Communication and Collaboration: Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including commercial/sales teams, customer services, and enabling functions such as technical services, health assurance, genetic services, and finance.
- Process Improvement: Stay up-to-date with new logistics technologies and practices, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Administration and Management or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in supply chain/logistics, with international export/import experience an advantage.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, flexibility, adaptability, and ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel, and experience with Microsoft D365 required.
- Language: Multilingual, with Spanish and English essential.
