Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify patterns and trends, and develop and apply machine learning innovations to resolve challenging problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and deploy ML solutions, and work on multiple data challenges to ensure simplicity, scalability, reproducibility, and maintainability.
  • Develop and apply machine learning innovations by collaborating with other team members and company stakeholders, and communicate results and conclusions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Perform feasibility studies and analyze data to determine the most appropriate solution, and work on multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.

Requirements:
  • PhD/Masters in a specific area of AI/ML with scientific soundness and published papers.
  • Hands-on expertise in Machine Learning, NLP, LMs, GenAI, signal processing, and data science.
  • Previous experience with key information extraction, product retrieval, and product matching.
  • EDA analysis and practical hands-on experience with datasets, ML models, and evaluations.
  • Proficiency in Python, Pytorch, Git, pandas, dask, polars, sklearn, huggingface, docker, and databricks.
  • Analytical mindset, problem-solving, and logical thinking capabilities.
  • Proactive attitude, constructive, intellectual curiosity, and persistence to find answers to questions.
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills in English, and strong ability to meet deadlines.
  • Keen to work as part of a diverse team of international colleagues and in a global inclusive culture.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience with evidence in a related ML field.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience working with large datasets, production-grade code, and operationalization of ML solutions.
