The Human Resources Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources department, including onboarding staff, administering compensation and benefits, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing and executing department priorities to ensure 5-10 supervisees follow organizational policy and procedures.
- Monitoring employee productivity to provide positive feedback, verbal coaching, written disciplinary actions, and cyclical performance evaluations.
- Setting goals for department performance as it pertains to individual employee performance and succession planning.
- Onboarding and training new staff in the HR department.
- Overseeing the daily workflow of the HR department.
- Assisting with employee disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policies.
- Partnering with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy.
- Providing support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff on complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues.
- Implementing learning and development programs and initiatives to provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Assisting with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
