About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and Sustainability Consultant to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our Sustainable Operations Team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing EHS management systems, compliance management support, and delivering audit programs across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of corporate EHS strategies and programs, including diagnostics, compliance, and technical audits.
  • Design and deliver H&S training and field coaching programs, including competency assessment, training programs for behavioral change, human factor analysis, and assessment.
  • Support the design and implementation of HSE and Sustainability governance processes to drive operational performance improvement, including risk and opportunity assessment, management system development, and auditing activities.
  • Lead sustainability reporting requirements, such as CSRD, taxonomy, or non-financial indicators reporting, or voluntary reporting like CDP.
  • Support or lead specific sustainability activities, such as low-carbon economy transition projects, carbon neutrality, and climate change projects.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with substantial experience across HSE and sustainability disciplines as a consultant or in industry. A Master's degree in environmental/Safety Engineering, Environmental/Natural resources Management, or other relevant disciplines is required. Project management experience and working knowledge of English (C1) are also essential. Knowledge of Spanish HSE legislation and international HSE & Sustainability Guidelines/Standards is a plus.
