About the Role:We're seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to provide expert advice and support to our Spanish entities. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide legal advice and support to various departments, including sales, procurement, human resources, finance, and marketing.
- Manage specific customer relationships as Business Partner identified by the GC EMEA.
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, such as supply agreements, distribution contracts, and procurement contracts.
- Advise on and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide practical, business-savvy counseling to the businesses in all areas of commercial transactions.
- Assist in managing legal disputes and litigation matters, including liaising with external counsel.
- Develop, implement, and maintain corporate policies and procedures.
- Support MA and other corporate transactions, including conducting due diligence and drafting transaction documents.
- A Law degree (University / State examination or equivalent).
- Admission to practice law in Spain is a plus.
- 3 years of transactional experience, preferably in the automotive/manufacturing industry or in a reputable law firm or a corporate legal department of a multi-national corporation.
- Demonstrated expertise in commercial transactions and Spanish labor/employment law.
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Team player with a proactive approach, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to collaborate across departments.
