Job Summary

Boeing is seeking a Senior Systems Safety Engineer to join our team in Europe. As a key member of our Digital Engineering Global Center, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our commercial airplanes and systems. Your expertise in system safety analysis, hazard assessments, and safety requirements will be crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safety design and analysis expertise to program stakeholders and leadership.
  • Utilize Model Based Engineering/Digital Engineering tools to analyze architectures/designs and develop safety deliverables.
  • Conduct research in the area of systems engineering and systems safety, with emphasis on Model Based Safety Analysis (MBSA) and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes, methods, training, and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in Systems, Systems Safety, Hardware, or Software development.
  • Experience with ARP4754B, ARP4761A, MIL-STD-882E, or similar.
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English.
  • Able to travel both domestically and internationally.
  • Must be legally able to work in Europe.
