About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Lead to join our team at Chubb. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of high-performance backend services and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the engineering team, ensuring that our backend services and APIs are designed and implemented with the highest level of quality and performance.
  • Architecture and Design: Collaborate with the team to design and implement scalable and secure backend services and APIs, using cutting-edge technologies such as Azure and.NET Core.
  • Code Quality and Review: Oversee the code review process, ensuring that all code meets the highest standards of quality and performance. Mentor team members on best practices and provide feedback to improve code quality.
  • Problem-Solving and Debugging: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and lead the team in resolving problems, using your expertise in root cause analysis and debugging techniques.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and developers, to ensure that our backend services and APIs meet the needs of our customers.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience: You have a proven track record of success in complex technical landscapes, building large-scale applications and leading technical teams.
  • Technical Expertise: You have in-depth knowledge of Azure,.NET Core, C#, and other relevant technologies, as well as experience with cloud-based development and deployment.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: You have strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and mentor team members.
  • Agile Methodologies: You have experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and are familiar with tools such as Jira and Git.
