About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Infrastructure Manager to join our EMEA Energy team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the design, planning, and construction of water infrastructure projects across our data centre network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage design consultants and contractual drafting to develop and document project requirements, budgets, and schedules.
  • Lead remote project delivery teams from design through to construction, facilitating technical whiteboard sessions to troubleshoot project implementation issues.
  • Multitask and re-prioritize to effectively lead deliveries based on changing business needs.
  • Develop and maintain overall delivery programs and project budgets, submitting capital allocation requests to secure finance for project delivery.
  • Prepare investment needs and business case papers to secure internal funding for water reinforcement projects.
About the Team

You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil Engineering, Economics, or Business.
  • 10+ years of combined work experience delivering water design infrastructure and engineering solutions for capital-intensive projects.
  • Fluency in Spanish.
  • 3+ years of experience managing project scope, business case, and infrastructure requirements, developing contract and draft documentation, request for proposals, and capital requests.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of direct experience with the construction, operation, or maintenance of water infrastructure across different global regions.
  • Advanced degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Economics.
  • Experience with fast-track design/build projects and multiple significant upgrade projects, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders with varied requirements.
  • Analytical mindset to identify gaps in requirements during project development, predict performance, and provide recommendations on a short notice.
