About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Art and Design to join our team at Tropicfeel. As a key member of our creative department, you will be responsible for shaping and maintaining the brand's visual identity, ensuring it resonates with our target audience and remains consistent across all channels and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Art Direction: Develop and communicate the artistic vision and visual identity of Tropicfeel, ensuring all creative work aligns with the brand's core values, mission, and target audience.
  • Content Coherence and Quality: Ensure that all creative work is of high quality and meets the brand's standards, staying updated on design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Design, Style & Casting Team Lead: Conceptualize and execute innovative and visually appealing marketing campaigns and promotional materials, design and oversee the production of various assets, including website design, social media graphics, print materials, and packaging.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers and artists, fostering a creative and collaborative work environment, overseeing the outsourcing of talent & stylists, photographers & editors, and any agency needed for specific projects.
Requirements
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in an Art direction background.
  • Strong affinity with the outdoor and travel gear industry.
  • Advanced in English and Spanish, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in leading teams.
  • Be a person with critical thinking and a proactive attitude.
  • A goal-oriented person with an understanding of digital channels and business mechanics.
  • Advanced level in Adobe suite software.
