Job Title: Packaging Technical Manager

Galderma is seeking a highly skilled Packaging Technical Manager to join our team. As a key interface between Galderma and external suppliers, you will be responsible for resolving technical challenges, overseeing validation activities, and evaluating technical changes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of packaging specifications, testing results, and compliance documentation to meet internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Packaging Development: Collaborate with the product development team to develop innovative and functional packaging solutions for new and existing cosmetic products, focusing on secondary and tertiary packaging.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes for packaging materials and finished products, working closely with the product development team to ensure line trial validation packaging meets required standards.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with packaging suppliers to ensure a smooth supply chain.
  • Project Management: Oversee packaging projects, creating project plans, setting milestones, and coordinating efforts with the packaging team and other stakeholders.
  • Risk Assessment and Troubleshooting: Identify potential risks and challenges related to packaging and develop strategies to mitigate them, troubleshooting any packaging issues that may arise during production or distribution.
Requirements:
  • Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industries, gained in Production or CI.
  • Knowledge of GMP/GDP.
  • Project management experience.
  • Development experience in secondary and tertiary packaging.
  • Formal continuous improvement qualification (Lean Sigma Green or Black Belt preferable).
