Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Account Manager to join our team at Fortinet. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with our strategic customers, providing technical guidance and support to help them achieve their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Relationship Management: Develop a deep understanding of our customers' business and technical needs to provide tailored technical support solutions.
  2. Technical Guidance: Provide proactive guidance and recommendations to customers on best practices and technical solutions to optimize their return on investment.
  3. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Run advanced troubleshooting on Fortinet products, reproduce customer environments on lab equipment, and recommend potential new solutions.
  4. Incident Management: Take ownership of customer incidents to drive timely resolutions and manage customer communications and expectations.
  5. Reporting and Communication: Produce service reports to summarize service activity and performance for key stakeholders and report software/hardware-related issues to the R&D department.
Requirements
  1. Technical Expertise: Good understanding of data networking protocols, specifically TCP/IP, routing, and switching, and hands-on experience with security products and technologies.
  2. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage customer relationships and expectations.
  3. Experience and Education: Minimum of 6 years of experience in a technical support/post-sales role, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Fortinet Certification: Fortinet certification NSE4, NSE5, NSE7, NSE8 is a distinct advantage.
  2. Language Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
