We are seeking a seasoned Purchasing Director to lead our global procurement efforts as a key member of our Amadeus team. This role involves managing relationships with key vendors and stakeholders, as well as guiding category strategies at a global level. You will facilitate the development and implementation of our purchasing strategy, contributing to Amadeus' Business Strategy.
Responsibilities- Develop strategic direction for the year, aligning with Amadeus' Business Strategy and driving purchasing objectives.
- Identify improvement opportunities and coordinate category strategy exercises, ensuring yearly plans are implemented for all indirect spend categories.
- Set organization targets across all categories and oversee major projects impacting the Purchasing function.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or Engineering; MBA or equivalent experience is considered a plus.
- Extensive experience guiding multinational/multicultural teams and managing complex purchasing scopes.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in English is required; Spanish and/or French is a plus.
- You will be part of a multi-cultural team with an international scope.
- A competitive salary range of $120,000-$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
