Industrial Maintenance Expert

As a key member of the Manufacturing Engineering team at Airbus Getafe Plant, your primary objective is to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our industrial systems while driving innovation and growth. In this role, based in Getafe, you will collaborate with various teams to enhance your project management, problem-solving, strategy, and leadership skills within the industrial ecosystem. You will oversee maintenance tasks, manage budgets, and strive to meet plant availability and performance targets.
- Bring maintenance expertise to acquisition projects, optimizing new asset maintainability for production.
- Ensure the Maintenance Department has all necessary documentation for effective maintenance activities.
- Analyze failures and prevent recurring issues through proactive methodologies.
- Maintain technical plant availability in your area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address maintenance-related issues.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and performance metrics.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and procedures.
Requirements for the Role:
- 5+ years of experience in Maintenance or a related field.
- Engineering degree with a focus on IT skills.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Availability to travel.
- Experience in composite fields is a plus.
- Strong negotiation and autonomy skills.
- Ability to manage conflicts and uncertainties effectively.
