Industrial Systems Maintenance Specialist

As an Industrial Systems Maintenance Specialist within the Manufacturing Engineering team at Airbus Getafe Plant, your primary objective is to sustain current industrial operations while paving the path for future advancements. We seek a committed professional who embodies the principles of collaboration, innovation, integrity, and dependability to enhance the development, upkeep, and ongoing enhancement of our industrial systems.
In this position, you will work closely with diverse teams to refine your project management, analytical, strategic, and leadership capabilities within the industrial framework. Your responsibilities will include supervising maintenance operations, managing financial resources, and striving to achieve plant availability and performance objectives.
- Leverage maintenance knowledge to optimize new asset maintainability for production during acquisition projects.
- Ensure the Maintenance Department possesses all essential documentation for efficient maintenance operations.
- Investigate failures and implement preventive measures to avoid recurring problems through proactive strategies.
- Ensure technical plant availability within your designated area of responsibility.
Qualifications for the role:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Maintenance or a related discipline.
- Degree in Engineering with an emphasis on IT competencies.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Experience in composite materials is advantageous.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to work independently.
- Proficient in managing conflicts and uncertainties effectively.
