Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Host/Hostess to join our team at Castillo Hotel Son Vida, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Mallorca, Spain. As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive at the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify restaurant reservations and greet guests upon arrival
  • Determine the number of guests in each party and assign seating accordingly
  • Offer menus and provide assistance to guests as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and linens
  • Communicate effectively with the wait staff and kitchen team to ensure seamless service
  • Ensure that all guests have a positive dining experience and address any concerns or issues promptly

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; studies in Hospitality or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Fluency in Spanish and English; knowledge of German a plus
