About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer, E&A to join our global team at Wärtsilä. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supervising Field Service Electrical & Automation activities on 4-Stroke Marine Engines and Propulsion Control Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to marine installations and power plants to work on-site, commission new installations, or participate in overhauls
- Supervise Field Service Electrical & Automation activities on 4-Stroke Marine Engines and Propulsion Control Systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to deliver exceptional service
Requirements
- Experience working with 4-stroke engines (Diesel, Gas, or DF) and Propulsion equipment (CPP, Thrusters, waterjets)
- Good knowledge of Written and Spoken English
- Experience in Troubleshooting, Overhauls, and commissioning
- Availability to travel around 80% of the time
- Good communication and cooperation skills, especially in multicultural environments
- Attention to safety
- Experience in team working
- Experience in dealing directly with Clients
- Time management and ability to work under pressure
