The Dean of Academic Affairs for Berklee Valencia is a key member of the Valencia Executive Team, responsible for driving the strategic direction of the campus's academic programs. This leadership position requires a collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit, with a focus on building upon Berklee's global reputation and embracing the unique opportunities presented by the campus's European location.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the academic strategy for the Valencia campus, aligning with Berklee's global vision and goals.
- Provide leadership to the academic team, composed of seasoned educators and industry professionals, to ensure the delivery of high-quality academic programs.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and Berklee Academic Affairs to develop and implement academic operations, ensuring consistency between Valencia and Boston campuses.
- Work closely with the Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs/Provost, academic vice presidents, division deans, and other Berklee Boston personnel to shape and develop programs at Berklee Valencia.
- Ensure alignment of strategy, goals, and processes across the Valencia campus, and coordinate efforts at all levels.
This is a full-time leadership and administrative position, requiring occasional travel and a strong commitment to the mission of Berklee College of Music.
