We are seeking a skilled Demi Chef to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a Demi Chef, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and production of a variety of baked goods and pastries. This role involves working under the supervision of the executive sous chef to ensure high-quality products are consistently produced.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and production of baked goods and pastries
- Work under the supervision of the executive sous chef to ensure high-quality products
- Contribute to the daily operations of the bakery, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient handling, and pastry presentation
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- Good organizational and time-management skills
Requirements:
- Culinary diploma or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen, with a focus on baking and pastry arts preferred
- Previous experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen, preferably with some experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient handling, and pastry presentation
