What We're Looking ForWe seek an exceptional Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Product Manager to join our team, managing all paid marketing traffic for Gartner Digital Markets websites, including Capterra, Software Advice, GetApp, and UpCity. This crucial role will lead CRO initiatives and drive the enhancement of our paid landing page experience through a structured test-and-learn approach.
Your Responsibilities- Brainstorm, prioritize, and define requirements for CRO initiatives.
- Oversee development and launch tests to optimize conversion rates.
- Analyze outcomes and make data-driven recommendations to improve user experience.
- Serve as the vital link between marketing channels and product/engineering/UX teams, spearheading our hypothesis-driven testing strategy.
- 3+ years of experience with CRO and user experience improvements, with a proven track record of boosting conversion rates and meeting performance targets.
- Expertise in CRO best practices and a deep understanding of the conversion funnel.
- Significant experience with major testing platforms, such as Optimizely, Optimize 360, Adobe, or Visual Website Optimizer, along with familiarity with Google Ads, customer data platforms, and marketing automation tools.
- Top analytical skills with the ability to analyze large data sets and optimize the conversion funnel.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and familiarity with other analytics platforms, such as Hotjar or FullStory.
- A foundational understanding of frequentist and Bayesian statistical models to effectively interpret test results and make data-driven decisions.
- CRO expertise and a proven track record of success.
- Project management and execution experience, driving projects through cross-functional teams to deliver improvements to conversion rate, revenue, profit, quality, user experience, and more.
- Ownership and strategist traits, with at least 1-2 years of experience driving CRO growth initiatives and working with cross-functional groups to deliver on goals.
