**Job Summary**

Vidrala is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead and oversee all electrical engineering activities within the company. As a key member of the Engineering Director's team, you will be responsible for managing a set of internal and external skills, ensuring the successful design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems and projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of electrical utility systems for industrial plants, ensuring they meet safety, reliability, and efficiency standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide innovative electrical engineering solutions.
  • Develop detailed electrical plans, schematics, and specifications, considering technical feasibility and budget constraints.
  • Conduct thorough site assessments and inspections to identify potential electrical system upgrades and improvements.
  • Manage and oversee the implementation of electrical projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Co-lead the energy management process, with an end-to-end focus, contributing to the design and specification of energy infrastructure, energy-intensive assets, digitalization, and operational benchmarking.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to electrical engineering in industrial environments.

**Requirements:**

  • A Bachelor degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering or a relevant technical discipline. A Master degree is highly preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position. Previous experience in industrial electric grids and power systems is highly preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • You like being responsible for complex projects in a dynamic international environment.

  • You are able to work in cross-functional and cross-regional teams.

  • Willingness to travel.
