Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Financial Director to lead our Financial Operations team in Barcelona. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of our company, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and making strategic decisions to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of financial professionals, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Strategic Decision-Making: Collaborate with senior leadership to make informed decisions that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial management, with a proven track record of success in leading financial teams.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and Tax; excellent ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Navision) and Excel skills; native or bilingual level of French and proficiency in English.
