Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Technician to join our team at Advanced Accelerator Applications, a Novartis company. As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our radiopharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the receipt and storage of raw materials and production materials.
  • Ensure the correct cleaning and organization of cabinets and refrigerators for storage of reagents, standards, raw materials, and production materials.
  • Support the head of Quality Control in the execution of various activities, including preparation of standards and reagents, micro-biological monitoring of pharmaceutical facilities, and management of counter-samples and dispatch of samples to external companies.
  • Perform quality controls of different radiopharmaceuticals and manage analytical techniques such as HPLC, gas chromatography, TLC, pH meter, activity meter, and method of detection of endotoxins.
  • Collaborate in the implementation and revalidation of quality control processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Radiation safety education and strong affinity with and awareness of quality issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and understand the sense of urgency around given tasks.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, written and spoken.
