Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commodity Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at Otis College of Art and Design. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our metal machining and assembly operations meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of supplier factories to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
