Overview

Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the driving force behind our cloud services. As a CO+I Critical Environment Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.

Responsibilities
  • Establish strong working relationships with customers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in a datacenter, ensuring peak efficiency and compliance with infrastructure operations standardization.
  • Act as an escalation point for all facilities-related issues within the datacenter, providing input and recommendations on electrical and mechanical design parameters.
  • Manage small-to-medium projects from conception to completion, driving cost and energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Coordinate, plan, schedule, and supervise CE audits and compliance verifications, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ year(s) industry experience, or 2+ years industry experience and college coursework.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
  • Preferred qualifications include 2+ years experience in Critical Environment infrastructures or working in physical IT infrastructures, technical college degree in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field, and applicable certifications.
