Drive Revenue Growth as an EMEA Presales Expert
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our EMEA team as an EMEA Presales Expert. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs and driving revenue growth.
About the Role:
Job SummaryThis is a full-time position based in Barcelona, Spain. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong understanding of cloud computing, networking, security, and data storage principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scoping and Sizing Opportunities
- Closely collaborate with the sales team and clients to comprehensively assess requirements, objectives, constraints, and what SoftwareONE can offer.
- Utilize analytical skills to scope and size opportunities effectively, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational capabilities.
- Solution Design and Proposal Development
- Design customized solutions that align with client requirements, leveraging expertise and knowledge of service offerings.
- Define margins for proposed solutions in coordination with sales and delivery teams, ensuring profitability while meeting client expectations.
- Draft clear and comprehensive statements of work (SOWs) outlining project deliverables, timelines, and terms of engagement.
- Creation and Maintenance of Solution Collaterals
- Establish and maintain a repository of solution collaterals, including case studies, white papers, presentations, and other relevant materials.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop compelling sales collateral, presentations, and other materials supporting the sales process.
- Market Research and Insights
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights and enhance solution offerings.
- Act as a subject matter expert during client interactions, presentations, and workshops, demonstrating capabilities and value proposition effectively.
- Sales Support and Collaboration
- Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, from initial discovery to solution design and proposal development.
- Proactively identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling additional products or services to existing clients.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to contribute insights and recommendations for business growth and expansion into new markets or service areas.
About You:
- University degree preferred (in the field of Information Technology and/or equivalent combination of experience and education).
- +2 years of experience selling products and services in cloud and workplace ecosystems (Microsoft or GCP).
- Familiarity with major providers like Azure, GCP, including services, pricing, networking, security.
- Understanding of company solutions, integration with other tech, displaying benefits to clients.
- Familiarity with cloud storage solutions, database services.
- Technical Certifications (Microsoft or GCP Certification) welcome.
- Skills in designing solutions for fault tolerance, redundancy, disaster recovery welcome.
- Ability to work with local and international customers and colleagues.
- Experience in selling Technology: Products, and Services.
- Ability to convert Business Problems to Technical Solutions.
- Ability to tailor solutions to client needs.
- Continuous Learning Orientation.
- Strong Verbal Communication and Negotiation Skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Fluent in Spanish or French or Italian or German.
