About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAC Planning Expert to join our team at Amadeus. As a key member of our Data and Analytics department, you will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the Amadeus SAC Platform, supporting the Amadeus Planning Hub (APH), with a focus on CCOP, BPOP, and FFC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain SAC planning and reporting processes meeting internal customer needs.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the Amadeus SAC Platform, ensuring standardization and integration of processes and solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to advise on business Analytics services, recommend potential solutions, and provide high-level implementation sizing.
  • Develop or customize end-to-end solutions in alignment with Amadeus guidelines, following up and monitoring the overall construction of the solution.
  • Conduct unit, non-regression, and performance tests, ensuring a level of quality in line with Amadeus standards.
  • Optimize the solution based on test results, coordinate and support during user acceptance tests, and produce technical documentation necessary for solution evolution and support teams.
  • Perform L3 support, propose enhancements to avoid failure and improve performance, and secure adequate governance in a community of SAC superusers.
Requirements
  • Deep experience in SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) with a focus on Planning functionalities.
  • Experience with SAP-powered IT landscapes, especially the BI suite (backend and frontend).
  • Data modeling and information classification expertise at the enterprise level.
  • Understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models, including networking and programming.
  • Excellent understanding of planning processes, ideally in large corporations and complex processes.
  • Excellent analysis skills in the area of Business Intelligence / Analytics.
  • Financial foundations for projects (business case, budget follow up, accounting principles).
  • Advanced presentation and ability to summarize core messages.
  • Ability to communicate, influence, and persuade peers and leadership.
  • Ability to understand the long-term and short-term perspectives of situations.
  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
