About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAC Planning Expert to join our team at Amadeus. As a key member of our Finance Analytics department, you will play a critical role in the maintenance and evolution of our Amadeus SAC Platform, supporting the Amadeus Planning Hub (APH).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain SAC planning and reporting processes meeting internal customer needs.
  • Contribute to the development of automated solutions, including advising internal customers on business Analytics services and recommending potential solutions.
  • Collect and document detailed business specifications with internal customers, analyze functional design, and propose technical designs.
  • Develop or customize end-to-end solutions in alignment with Amadeus guidelines, conduct unit, non-regression, and performance tests, and optimize solutions based on test results.
  • Perform L3 support, propose enhancements to avoid failure and improve performance, and secure adequate governance in a community of SAC superusers.
  • Identify, propose, and implement architecture improvements, configure data source connections, manage asset libraries, and define best practices for SAC deployment.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) expert with a focus on Planning functionalities, as well as experience with SAP-powered IT landscapes, especially the BI suite (backend and frontend). You should have expertise in data modeling and information classification at the enterprise level, understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models, and proficiency in networking and programming.

You should be able to communicate, influence, and persuade peers and leadership, and have a deep understanding of the Analytics landscape and the roles of its components in a large company environment. Additionally, you should be able to translate information architecture contributions to business outcomes into simple briefings for use by various data-and-analytics-related roles.
