About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAC Planning Expert to join our team at Amadeus. As a key member of our Data and Analytics department, you will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the Amadeus SAC Platform, supporting the Amadeus Planning Hub (APH), with a focus on CCOP, BPOP, and FFC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain SAC planning and reporting processes meeting internal customer needs.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the Amadeus SAC Platform, ensuring standardization and integration of processes and solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to advise on business Analytics services, recommend potential solutions, and provide high-level implementation sizing.
  • Collect and document detailed business specifications, analyze functional design, and propose technical designs considering impacts on existing processes and tools.
  • Develop or customize end-to-end solutions in alignment with Amadeus guidelines, following up and monitoring the overall construction of the solution.
  • Conduct unit, non-regression, and performance tests, ensuring a level of quality in line with Amadeus standards.
  • Optimize the solution based on test results, coordinate and support during user acceptance tests, and produce technical documentation necessary for solution evolution and support teams.
  • Produce user documentation and educational materials to facilitate user understanding and adoption.
  • Perform L3 support, propose enhancements to avoid failure and improve performance, and secure adequate governance in a community of SAC superusers.
  • Identify, propose, and implement architecture improvements, configure data source connections, manage asset libraries, and define best practices for SAC deployment.
  • Participate in overall data platform architecture and strategy, transitioning from tactical moves to the target Enterprise Content Distribution.
  • Research and resolve solution architecture problems based on availability, stability, and performance indicators.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAC Planning Expert with a deep understanding of SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) and its planning functionalities. You should have experience with SAP-powered IT landscapes, especially the BI suite (backend and frontend), and data modeling and information classification expertise at the enterprise level.

You should also have a strong understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models, including networking and programming, and be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Excellent analysis skills in the area of Business Intelligence / Analytics, financial foundations for projects, and advanced presentation and ability to summarize core messages are also essential.
