About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI Artist to join our team at 2K Games, Inc. as a key member of our game development studio. As a Senior UI Artist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual art and user experience of our project, collaborating with designers, artists, and engineers to create a rich and immersive interactive experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visual Design Expertise: Develop and support UI and UX design needs in accordance with the project's artistic direction and game design philosophies.
  • UX Wireframing: Create and refine UX wireframes, collaborating effectively with game design and art to visually represent game design intentions.
  • Asset Creation: Work with Game & UX Designers to concept, iterate, and produce assets throughout all stages of development from pre-viz to final game assets.
  • UI Style Guide: Create and maintain a cohesive UI style guide with leads and key stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Prioritize, plan, and organize UI asset creation, working with development partners on how best to deliver and execute on the creative vision and ensuring delivery of Triple-A game quality visuals.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices, workflows, and pipelines to improve team effectiveness and continuously look at self and professional development.
Requirements
  • UI Expertise: Strong UI abilities that demonstrate a strong grasp and understanding of the needs of UI in an interactive game experience.
  • Organization: Well-organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Communication: Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Prototyping: Experience in prototyping software (XD, Balsamiq, Axure, etc.).
  • Game Engines: Experience working in game engines (e.g., UNREAL, Unity, and other proprietary or commercial engines), design toolsets, and production pipelines is strongly desired.
  • Production Software: Proficiency in production software such as Photoshop, Illustrator (or equivalent software for asset generation) is required; motion graphics and animation proficiency is a major plus.
  • Language: Able to work and communicate in English.
  • Citizenship: Must be an EU Citizen.
