About the RoleThe Senior UI Artist will play a crucial role in shaping the visual art and user experience of our games, collaborating with designers, artists, and engineers to create a rich and immersive interactive experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Support UI and UX Design Needs: Collaborate with the project's artistic direction and game design philosophies to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
- Mock-up UX Wireframes: Work with game designers and artists to visually represent game design intentions and create wireframes that meet the project's requirements.
- Concept, Iterate, and Produce Assets: Conceptualize, iterate, and produce high-quality UI assets throughout all stages of development, from pre-viz to final game assets.
- Create and Maintain a Cohesive UI Style Guide: Develop and maintain a comprehensive UI style guide with leads and key stakeholders to ensure consistency across the project.
- Prioritize, Plan, and Organize UI Asset Creation: Prioritize and plan UI asset creation, working with development partners to deliver and execute on the creative vision and ensure delivery of high-quality visuals.
- Identify and Implement Best Practices: Continuously identify and implement best practices, workflows, and pipelines to improve team effectiveness and elevate the quality of UI deliverables.
- Strong UI Abilities: Demonstrate a strong grasp and understanding of the needs of UI in an interactive game experience.
- Well-Organized: Possess excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong Communication and Writing Skills: Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, and possess strong writing skills to create clear and concise documentation.
- Experience in Prototyping Software: Have experience working with prototyping software such as XD, Balsamiq, Axure, etc.
- Experience Working in Game Engines: Have experience working in game engines such as UNREAL, Unity, and other proprietary or commercial engines.
- Proficiency in Production Software: Possess proficiency in production software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and other equivalent software for asset generation.
- Knowledge in 3D: Knowledge in 3D is a plus but not required.
- English Language Proficiency: Able to work and communicate in English.
- EU Citizenship: Must be an EU citizen.
