Senior UI Artist Job Description

We are 2K Games, Inc., a leading game development studio, and we're looking for a talented Senior UI Artist to join our team. As a Senior UI Artist, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual art of our games, collaborating with designers, artists, and engineers to create an immersive and engaging user experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and support UI and UX design needs in accordance with the project's artistic direction and game design philosophies.
  • Collaborate with game designers and artists to create wireframes, prototypes, and final game assets.
  • Create and maintain a cohesive UI style guide with leads and key stakeholders.
  • Prioritize, plan, and organize UI asset creation, working with development partners to deliver high-quality visuals.
  • Identify and implement best practices, workflows, and pipelines to improve team effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Strong UI abilities with a deep understanding of UI in interactive game experiences.
  • Well-organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Experience with prototyping software (e.g., XD, Balsamiq, Axure) and game engines (e.g., Unreal, Unity).
  • Proficiency in production software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator) and motion graphics and animation skills are a plus.
