Residential Operations Manager

The Residential Operations Manager will oversee the professional management and administration of a portfolio of high-end residential properties. This role requires strong leadership and staff management skills, as well as effective communication and diplomacy.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage staff to drive results and achieve top performance
- Develop and implement building management processes to meet client requirements
- Perform regular inspections of common areas, building exteriors, and landscaping
- Communicate effectively with residents and external parties
- Ensure effective and sustainable maintenance and repairs
- Plan and manage replacement of major capital expense items
- Approve invoices for services required to maintain properties
- Ensure properties' performance meets or exceeds set goals
- Participate in the preparation of reports, budgets, and analyze operating variances
- Institute collection procedures for late-paying tenant accounts
- Minimum five (5) years property management experience in residential high-end properties
- Graduate and/or certificate/degree in business administration, real estate finance, CPM, IHM, or related field
- Knowledge of applicable provincial and municipal legislation
- Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Office, and knowledge of Yardi
- Prior managerial experience required
- Sound leadership, staff management, and teambuilding skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, conflict resolution, and people management skills
