We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing tissues for histopathologic evaluation from animals submitted to the laboratory for disease diagnosis and research purposes. Key responsibilities include gross trimming, processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining tissue samples.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To excel in this role, you must possess excellent attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Relevant experience in a veterinary diagnostic service or industrial biological laboratory is preferred. Familiarity with quality assurance/quality control principles and laboratory techniques is essential.
