Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled consulting professional with extensive knowledge of solutions, industry standards, and diverse business processes or technology frameworks within a specific product or technology domain. This role requires independent operation to deliver high-quality work products tailored to client engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in both spoken and written English.
  • Exhibit strong communication, teamwork, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Translate customer requirements into comprehensive technical and functional specification documents.
  • Possess advanced expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development, deemed essential.
  • Showcase knowledge and experience with Oracle Database Systems, also essential.
  • Familiarity with Java programming and APIs is considered a plus.
  • Experience in additional programming languages such as C++, Python, or R is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the financial sector is beneficial.
  • Experience with Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) is a plus.
  • A bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science is required.

Responsibilities Continued: This role involves independent execution of complex tasks requiring sound judgment to implement Oracle products and technologies that align with customer needs. You will apply Oracle methodologies, company protocols, and best practices to deliver functional and technical solutions for moderately complex client engagements. Leadership in solution design and implementation is expected, ensuring high-quality, integrated software solutions are delivered within time and budget constraints.

Technical Support: Provide strategic technical assistance to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. This entails in-depth knowledge of installation, configuration, usage, and optimization of Oracle products, along with general accounting practices and exceptional customer service skills. Communicate technical issues, root causes, and resolutions clearly to customers, maintaining transparency regarding current status and setting appropriate expectations.

Expertise Development: Act as a key member of the technical team, demonstrating strong skills in structured problem analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of intricate technical challenges. Continuous learning through self-directed programs is essential to stay updated on product changes and enhancements. Knowledge of Cloud technologies, SaaS, IaaS architectures, networking, and server-based systems is required, along with familiarity with Windows, Windows Server, and Unix operating systems.

Knowledge Management: Engage in research, review, creation, and editing of knowledge within the Oracle Knowledge Base. This includes identifying symptoms, root causes, and solutions within a comprehensive database of resources. Contributions to the Knowledge Base are expected as new insights are gained, and corrections are necessary. Mentor junior analysts and develop training materials to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Automation and Analysis: Analyze, test, and develop automation tools to assist customers in navigating the Service Request process. This includes programming automated queries to filter customer issues accurately and routing Service Requests to the appropriate engineers. Work on special projects and assignments as directed by management.

Compliance and Documentation: Conduct thorough analysis of customer requirements and ensure developments align with specifications provided by Oracle or the customer within the established timeline. Utilize defined standards, tools, and processes to achieve deliverables that meet quality expectations. Document all activities in accordance with agreed standards and processes, adhering to the defined Change Control Process and complying with Oracle/customer audit and compliance requirements.

Project Participation: Support financial services projects for clients across various regions as needed.
