Postdoctoral Researcher in Nano-Bio-Devices

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) in Barcelona, Spain. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of self-propelled nanobots for translational applications in biomedicine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimization of drug loading processes for smart drug delivery systems.
  • Evaluation of drug-loaded nanobots in different biological environments.
  • Supervision of bachelor, master, and PhD students.
  • Support the Group Leader in funding acquisition.
  • Lead the sub-team on nanobots for nano-biomedicine.
Requirements:
  • PhD in pharmacy, chemistry, biotechnology, nanomedicine, biochemistry, or related fields.
  • Experience in nanoparticle synthesis, functionalization, drug loading studies, and common characterization techniques.
  • Strong publication record in nanomaterials, nanoparticles, and nanomedicine.
