Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our platform. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop software solutions that meet the needs of our business and customers.
  2. Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  4. Develop and maintain software documentation to ensure clarity and consistency.
  5. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in software development.
  2. 5 years of experience with software development in multiple programming languages and data structures/algorithms.
  3. 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, and/or launching software products and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  4. 1 year of experience in fintech.
  5. Experience in mobile application development.
  6. Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  2. 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role. Experience developing accessible technologies.
  3. Experience coding in C#, Dart, and TypeScript.
  4. Experience with frameworks like Flutter, Angular, and.NET.
  5. Experience working with Terraform and AWS.
  6. Experience with configuring CI/CD.
  7. An interest in full-stack development.
  8. Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
About the Team

Our tech team is responsible for the following platforms at Handly:

  1. Flutter mobile application for craft companies
  2. Angular web application for craft companies
  3. Angular web application for internal operations
  4. .NET web API
  5. Associated infrastructure in AWS powered by Terraform

This application stack services thousands of craft businesses, helping them manage their customers, employee work schedules, jobs, and appointments.
