About Mygwork

Mygwork is a leading provider of cloud infrastructure services, and we're looking for a skilled Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Data Center Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers and the delivery of high-quality services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with stakeholders across EMEA, providing technical support and troubleshooting services to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to complete routine work, including server hardware repairs, network troubleshooting, and OS-related repairs.
  • Perform regular server hardware repairs, including drive replacements, motherboard swaps, and other hardware-related tasks.
  • Carry out routine network, server hardware, and OS-related repairs, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime for our customers.
  • Engage with Smart Hands in EU Regional POPs to ensure efficient and effective problem-solving.
  • Adhere to security and safety best practices in the data center, ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
  • Participate in Data Center power & cooling events, contributing to the development of process improvements and best practices.
  • Identify and help create documentation for use globally, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all teams and regions.
  • Perform server upgrades, rebuilds, and scheduled works as required, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to our customers.
  • Interact with third-party vendors and contractors, building strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development of other team members, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their growth and success.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networks.
