Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Power System Engineer to join our team in developing and integrating electrical simulation models for wind turbines and wind farms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in power system engineering, transmission and distribution networks, and power electronics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and integrate electrical simulation models for wind turbines and wind farms using PSCAD and other simulation tools.
  • Test and analyze model performance, providing inputs to other departments as needed.
  • Assess model performance against wind turbine capabilities and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop automation tools to run simulations and create reports automatically.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation models into our energy solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in power system engineering, with a focus on wind turbine simulation and grid connection.
  • Expertise in PSCAD, Fortran, and C programming languages.
  • Knowledge of power electronics, electrical machines, and harmonics analysis.
  • Experience with wind power plants and renewable energy power plants is highly desirable.
