Job Summary:

SkySys is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support for all End User Computing devices (Laptop, Desktop and mobility) for office-based staff at site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on the resolution of incidents, problems, requests, in order to achieve high standards of customer service and deliver optimum operational and business benefits.
  • Provide technical support for all End User Computing devices, including laptops, desktops, and mobility devices.
  • Install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and repair personal computers in a network environment.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including DNS, Proxy servers, and firewalls.
  • Implement software distribution, patching, and imaging technologies.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years+ experience providing end-user support for PC desktop and application software.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows (version 10 preferred).
  • Full Microsoft Office Suite and Operating Systems: Win7 and Win10.
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory for computer configuration.
  • Good understanding of Skype, VPN, and mobile device support.
  • Knowledge of IMAC, SLA's, and Asset management, ITIL.
  • General understanding of network infrastructure.
