Iba is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team of specialist technicians who work together with our engineers to maintain IBA's Cyclotron equipment and systems used in Proton Therapy, an advanced form of Cancer treatment.
About the Role
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and executing Preventive Maintenance missions to the highest standards in line with the maintenance schedule
- Executing both mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks ensuring the highest levels of safety
- Delivering detailed reports to colleagues and customers
- Repair and debug subsystems following documented procedures
- Test equipment/systems according to the specifications following documented procedures
- Supporting our Field Service Teams in North America and Asia when required
- Supporting Engineers during Corrective Maintenance and Emergency missions
- Supporting R&D developments both on site and at our assembly halls in Belgium
- Supporting Clinical Operations on our Proton Therapy sites
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualifications in electro-mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in the maintenance of mechanical, electronic, and electrical systems
- Good mastering of English, both in writing and speaking
- Additional positives: experience with vacuum, cooling, or ionizing radiation, a valid driving license, and a valid passport
