About the Role

C.H. Robinson is seeking a skilled Pricing Coordinator to join our Global Forwarding division in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in processing and providing modal pricing and analytical responses to business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Pricing processes and SLAs with branches, maintaining pricing data in our bid ecosystem.
  • Manage daily pricing requests, ensuring timely responses and policy compliance.
  • Log pricing activities for operations staff.
  • Handle work queue through email, tickets, and phone, assisting with pricing issues.
  • Check bid submissions, awards, and uploads, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Review bid materials, gather and verify rates, and ensure timely submissions.
  • Understand modal yield strategy, fees, and market fluctuations.
  • Derive insights from data to create pricing strategies, including warehouse services, inventory, and transportation pricing.
  • Generate reports and understand warehouse capabilities, allowed products, and market costs for effective customer solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales and pricing teams, participate in customer calls, and update management on pricing opportunities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in Pricing, OCEAN freight.
  • Experience in an Account or Sales role.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
  • Commercial experience within C.H. Robinson and/or external logistical experience.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated prioritization, time management, and attention to detail and accuracy skills.
  • Demonstrated strong decision-making skills, problem solving and conflict resolution skills, and ability to prioritize tasks between daily responsibilities.
